July 24th Wedding

Thank you to Erin and Kyle for booking me to photograph their wedding on Friday, July 24. The wedding ceremony will be held at St. Vincent de Paul in Andover, with the reception immediately following at The Ville.

When warmer days of spring arrive, I will be photographing Erin for a bridal portrait. This will be a great opportunity for her to give her gown a "dress rehearsal". Then on her wedding day she will know that everything about her gown is exactly as she wants it to be.

Thank you again, enjoy your engagement--I look forward to photographing your wedding!

June 12th wedding

Congratulations to Crystal and Steve! They will be getting married on Friday, June 12th at the beautiful Nativity Pines Christmas Tree Farm, east of Wichita. Their wedding plans are coming along well, as they have already selected Cameo Cakes and Accent Mobile DJ to help make the reception just perfect. Also, Hog Wild Pit BBQ will be the caterer of the delectable dinner for their event.
Thank you for booking me as your wedding photographer...we are going to have a lot of fun!

A professional photographer

A professional photographer doesn't just "catch moments". A professional photographer sees the moment and then crafts it by creatively using the camera perspective, unique lighting, decisive framing, and so on. The professional, trained photographer refines the emotional palette of a photograph, so that it holds the eye of the viewer, and forms an indelible memory to be treasured for generations to come.

If I buy canvas, brushes, palette and oil paints, I have the "tools of the trade" to be an artist. But just having those tools does not make me an artist...only proper training, practice and years of experience do.
